Dr Miriam Griggs has over 20 years experience in treating musculoskeletal disorders.
She trained at Old Dominion University with a degree in Physical Therapy, and worked
as a physical therapist for seven years. She then entered medical school at the Eastern
Virginia School of Medicine where she received her M.D. degree, and completed four years
of postgraduate residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation achieving Board
Certification in that specialty. In 1997 she trained as a physician acupuncturist at UCLA
and has been using acupuncture since that time as an adjunct to conventional treatment in
selected patients. Dr Griggs moved to the Phoenix area in 2000 and opened Arizona Center for
Spine in 2001. She has special expertise in treating muscular pain, neck and low back pain,
tension headaches, sports injuries and myofascial pain syndromes. |

Dr. George Griggs has almost 50 years of medical experience. His extensive experience
includes training and board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and past
certification in Geriatrics. He has served as a faculty member at four different medical
schools. He joined his daughter, Dr. Miriam Griggs, in 2002, and since that time has been
working with her to add his expertise to her physical medicine practice. |
